The Leadership Lowndes Class of 2020 is back for round two.
Our class of 30 local leaders was put on pause in March of 2020 when COVID-19 swept the globe. The Leadership Lowndes Board of Trustees was forced to stop the program for the remainder of the year. Prior to the shutdown, class members attended both their retreat at Jekyll Island and Legislative Day at the State Capitol.
Now the class is back together and picking up where they left off to become the first Leadership Lowndes class to span two years. The Class of 2020/2021 resumed program days in March and will graduate in November of 2021. Class members have been flexible and understanding as the Board of Trustees and day planning committees work to create extraordinary program day experiences, despite lingering effects of the pandemic.
Leadership Lowndes is also resuming planning for future classes and is accepting nominations for the Class of 2022. The deadline for nominations is Saturday, September 4th 2021. Click here to nominate an outstanding current or emerging leader.
